D'Addario XTE1059 10-59 Ga XT Coated 7 String Electric Guitar Strings

 D'Addario's latest entry in the coated string category is the XT series. Made from NYXL nickel plated steel, the XT series strings will last longer and retain tone for longer than a normal set. We feel that in general, if you want to buy coated strings for longevity, you come out ahead in paying the extra. The coating on these is exceptionally thin, and you likely won't feel it other than noticing a little extra slickness to your string, in case you're one of those people who typically doesn't like the feel of a coated string. 

This set is the most common gauge for 7 string guitars.
