This battery kit is necessary if you want to add an LED killswitch for a guitar with passive electronics. This option utilizes two CR2032 batteries (like the ones that go into your clip on tuners) and is slimmer than a nine volt battery while providing nearly the same battery life. Comes with an on-off switch for the LED and a stereo jack for plug in on-off. Bear in mind that the stereo jack can confuse some wireless systems.
