Orange Drop Capacitors are are a polypropylene "Polyfilm" type capacitor. It would be considered bright in the range of capacitors, but better sounding than the inexpensive ceramic capacitors many guitars come with. 

Generally, .047 for Humbuckers, and .022 for Single coil, but as with all things, we recommend experimentation.
